HALLOWEEN IS ARRIVING!!!! And I’m here to make that process a bit easier! This is a guide to how to take pieces of clothes and take Halloween to the next level! I received three dresses from prettylittlething, and turned them into Halloween costumes! The best thing is that all of these dresses can be worn for other occasions NOT just Halloween, since I like to budget and I know halloween costumes are never worn again its easy to put outfit together and just add accesories to your looks, which is more affordable and you can make the look to your personality. So please Stay tuned on how I achieved that.
My first dress is the long ruffled look and I took my chance and made my outfit a “flamenco dancer”. This is a perfect costume idea because you’ll look different and you’ll feel like you’re a dancer and effortlessly beautiful and unique. I added the fan to really bring out the dancer look, and the rose. To me creating this costume idea gave me happy thoughts and I thought I was a character in a novel lol, so romantic. This dress can also be used for any other event, like wedding, fancy dinner, special occacion. I love that the dress is lace and has a sexy vibe to it. I pulled my hair back into a low bun and added long earrings to give it that extra dancer look. I always add accesories to my looks because it gives it a different look right away.
The second look was a masquerade/fifty shades of gray inspired look. I took this beautifully fitted gown and turned it into my Halloween look number two. I added a lace face mask, I wanted to look extra sexy and elegant. I added a dark lip to give me that extra Halloween dark vibe. It’s just an easy way to look sexy and mysterious since you can be anyone you want during halloween. I also added this fluffy purse from prettylittlething as well and its perfect to fit all the things you might need, when heading out. All I need is my Christian grey, which I have my own but he was taking my pictures lol .
The third and final look I took this body fitted dress, and for this one I had so many Ideas, like wearing it for a pajama party, girls night out and date night, pair it up with casual booties adding an oversized sweater and it becomes casual instantly. I decided to turn this look into a dark bride. So I took this dress and made myself a bride!. I added the sexy stockings and veil, jewels, and kept a simple makeup (because I know myself! I cannot do creative makeup for the life if me ). I intended to really focus on my outfits to bring out my costumes because I know myself and wll end up looking like a clown rather than the look I truly want to achieve.
These are easy ways to take your pieces of clothing and really get use out of them. I hope you enjoyed this guide into taking halloween to the next level and glamming it up!
